Guided Visualisation

Guided visualisation is a method that helps you connect with your inner thoughts and feelings by engaging your senses and imagination. Unlike simply picturing an image, it involves experiencing a scene or journey through any of the five senses, like feeling, hearing, or even smelling, which creates a full and immersive experience of calm and clarity.

During a guided visualisation session, a therapist may start by discussing your goals, then lead you into relaxation through deep breathing. Once relaxed, you’re verbally guided through a peaceful scene or “mental journey.” The goal is to help you unwind, reduce stress, and reach a state of inner peace, where you can explore thoughts and emotions safely.

This technique works well alongside other therapies, such as massage, to deepen relaxation and support healing. It’s also useful for talking through challenges and finding intuitive solutions, as the calm, focused environment helps with clear and positive thinking.
